HILARIOUS: What Do You Call a Basement Full of Liberals… [JOKE]

C.E. Dyer reports that in a hysterically ironic development, a planned anti-Trump march called the March for Science has encountered the wrath of the regressive social justice warrior set for using the word “female.”

Organizers of the march tweeted this question: “Are you a female who thought about doing engineering but decided against it? Why? What can the science community do better? #ScienceMarch”

Well of course, regressives weren’t going to stand for a supposed science march using a scientifically correct term to describe biological females.

HeatStreet reported:

“Michael Oman-Reagan, a Canadian anthropologist best known for demanding the “queering” of space travel and fierce critic of the Oxford Dictionary’s “sexist definitions,” asked in apparent reference to Star Trek’s “females” meme:

“Are you a Ferengi who thought about doing Twitter but decided against it? Why? What can the science community do better?”

Alessondra Springmann, a self-described “anticolonial intersectional feminist” told them to “delete your account you colossal waste of carbon.”

Ah yes, because if someone doesn’t see something the way you do that surely means that they should delete their account. It’s not as if civil adults could exchange ideas so as to better understand one another …

That’s because there is no “idea” here other than an effort to shut down anyone that doesn’t blindly accept the left’s agenda — so much so that they shame and eat their own when they step out of line.

Rachael Tatman, a Linguistics PhD candidate at the University of Washington, doesn’t “love” the use of the word “female,” which appears to be the extent of discourse from the left on the topic.

Tatman stated: “I don’t love ‘female’ as a noun to refer to women. Makes you sound like a Ferengi.”

The organizers prostrated themselves before the angry feminists in several tweets apologizing for upsetting their feelers:

“Mistakes happen, and this probably won’t be the last one. But we’re in it for the long haul, and we’re listening.”

“Science is strong when we listen to each other, and make space for our many voices. We’re in this for the long haul.”

“We’re sorry for any harm we caused. We’re listening and we’re learning.”

“We are grateful to have had folks both inside AND outside the march providing useful feedback about why these tweets were wrong.”

“Thanks to everyone who pointed out some problematic tweets we made recently. Language matters, especially when it comes to inclusion.”

As HeatStreet pointed out, instead of actually dealing with the substantive question about women in science, leftists decided to harp on what language they chose to use.

This is, to me, a prime example of what the left is about. They don’t care about the social justice B.S. they claim to — it’s all a facade.

This is about exerting power and control by shutting people down with this inane social justice crap that their followers who enjoy being perpetually outraged victims greedily eat up.

I’m guessing that using the word “male” instead of “man” wouldn’t elicit the same hysterical reaction from the feminists that the use of the word “female” did — which says a great deal about what a farce modern feminism is.
