CAUGHT RED HANDED: Nobody Saw Who Trump Just Caught Leaking Secrets Today…
A 25-year old woman named Reality Leigh Winner has been accused of leaking Top Secret information to the press in charges filed by the Justice Department.
This is HUGE. Leakers have been disrupting President Trump’s administration since his presidency began, damaging the reputation of the administration and causing massive security risks.
Winner had Top Secret security clearance and was working for a government contractor, Pluribus International, in Augusta, Georgia since February 13th.
According to the Justice Department complaint against Winner, she:
“printed and improperly removed classified intelligence reporting, which contained classified national defense information from an intelligence community agency, and unlawfully retained it.”
Later, she allegedly sent the information through the mail to a news outlet.
These documents contained classified information about attempted Russian interference in voter registration systems last year.
I find it so hard to believe that anyone would want to compromise our national security by leaking classified information, but it has been happening more and more lately in an effort to undermine the Trump administration.
Luckily Winner—who sounds more like a ‘Loser’ if you ask me—has been caught and will hopefully be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law to deter other potential leakers.
