Obama White House Photographer Tries to Shame Trump Over Tweets, Steps in It ‘Bigly’

President Donald Trump has been widely criticized over his Thursday tweet storm against MSNBC “Morning Joe” co-hosts Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough.

Even former President Obama’s White House photographer got in on the action.

Trump’s Twitter attack against the recently-engaged couple was particularly harsh on Brzezinki, whom he claimed showed up at a Mar-a-Lago party, “bleeding badly from a face lift.”

Photographer Pete Sousa, who’s trolled Trump in the past with images of Obama, as Twitchy notes, took a strategically timed, not-so-subtle shot at Trump’s comments about Brzezinski:

Social media being the great equalizer it sometimes is, Twitter users fired back at Sousa. “Aaron” suggested Sousa’s photo didn’t exactly depict respect for women:

DailyWire founder Ben Shapiro was more direct:

User “Trump Super PAC” posted a video of Obama addressing a female reporter as “sweetie”:

While “Acosta’s Tantrum™” used the opportunity to blast the granddaddy of them all:

“Yo” dug back into the archives, and came up with this “oldie but goodie”:

Incidentally, some Obama defenders went so far as to claim the 16-year-old Brazilian in the picture had “tripped,” which quickly caught the former president’s attention.

This explanation fails to explain, of course, the look on the face of former French President Nicolas Sarkozy … but I digress.

“MANdrew” reminded Sousa of Joe Biden’s creepy behavior:

But this tweet from “Spaniard” tweet was kinda creepy all by itself:

“Brian B” took a trip in the way-back machine to dredge up a 2008 story, in which Republican presidential candidate John McCain’s campaign alleged that Obama’s “lipstick on a pig” blast was actually directed at McCain’s running mate, Sarah Palin:

The author was reminded of Obama’s interaction with Danish PM Helle Thorning-Schmidt during a memorial service for the late South African President Nelson Mandela — as the clearly “respected” Michelle Obama appeared to fume:

There were at least as many tweets in the thread slamming Trump and praising Obama, but perhaps none summed up the feelings of Obama supporters these days than this one:

And to think, we’re barely five months into the Trump presidency. Somehow, it seems longer.

This is a commentary piece. The views expressed in this article are those of just the author.
