BREAKING: Obama Threatens Trump
Most presidents have the good sense and respect for their colleagues that, even if they disagree with them, they won’t sink so low as to meddle in their successor’s administration. It’s a tradition characterized by grace and humility that has existed for hundreds of years. Obama, however, seems to be violating this unspoken tradition in his zeal to cripple the Trump presidency.
As Trump stands poised to repeal DACA, an Obama pet project, and possibly deport close to 800,000 illegal immigrants in the near future – Obama has said that he’s going to speak out if Trump ends his unlawful and unconstitutional executive amnesty, according to Politico.
Many are expecting Trump to announce his termination of the Obama-era DACA initiative, which grants work permits to illegal immigrants who came to this country as children. Obama, who created the program in 2012 through executive orders, is planning to speak out against Trump.
Obama said that he would not stay silent in the face of “efforts to round up kids who have grown up here and for all practical purposes are American kids, and send them someplace else, when they love this country.”
It seems that Obama just can’t stop trying to stay relevant in the world of Washington politics. Considering how fractured and divided the Democrats are, who can blame him – he’s trying to remain a vocal leader of liberal causes in a nation that has thoroughly rejected them. Just look at the last election.
What that means, however, is that the former president has been overstepping his boundaries, actively working to criticize, demoralize, and undermine the Trump administration – something that shouldn’t be accepted.
Another Obama aide, Dan Pfeiffer, attacked this decision to repeal DACA. “This is a cruel and capricious a public policy decision that any President has made in a very long time.”
Obama is joined by other left-wing sympathizers in their support of DACA. Mark Zuckerberg, as well as George Soros, have both pledged their support for the program – interesting how these progressive billionaires hardly seem to stand for the best interests of the American people?
Despite pretending to be inactive in regards to aiding anti-Trump elements across the nation, Obama has secretly been working on an anti-Trump beachhead in Washington, DC. The former president has set up a “war room,” whose inhabitants hold two conference calls each day to hash out media talking points, as well as strategies for anti-Trump TV ads.
Obama has said that he’s going to speak out if Trump ends DACA. Does anyone care? Should Obama butt out and let Trump govern?
Dick Morris, a political pollster, revealed these details over a month ago, saying, “Obama has set up a secret operation in a war room just about two miles from the White House. They have a twice daily conference call… and they develop talking points for the media for the day for how to sabotage and undermined Trump. Lately, it’s been devoted and dedicated to trying to defeat Trump’s healthcare reform… So much for smooth presidential transitions.”
This agenda to criticize Trump, when you consider the big picture, is just another tactic to demoralize the American public, and turn them against their current president.
Obama needs to fade away from the spotlight. His time has come and gone, and he has done more damage to this nation than any positive contributions he may have made could possibly offset. Now that the citizenry has thoroughly rejected his ideology, politics, and legislation, what remains of his legacy in DACA won’t last long, either.
