Bill Maher Just Said ‘There Is No God’ Because Irma Didn’t Destroy Any Trump Properties
Liberal comedian Bill Maher, who hosts Real Time on HBO, is an atheist and has been outspoken about how little he respects those who practice religion of any faith. However, his recent comments regarding God an Hurrice Irma just set an all-time low for the comic.
Numerous deaths resulted from the storm, which was one of the most powerful hurricanes to ever hit the eastern seaboard of the United States. Countless people lost their homes and livelihoods in Hurricane Irma, and millions went without power for days.
However, Maher thought that the natural disaster presented him to make a cheap shot at both Republican President Trump and God at the same time.
Maher’s comment was not received well, with one internet commenter writing, “I know there’s a God because he puts people like Bill Maher on display to show us what evil is.” Added another, “It amazes me how Christianity is labeled as absurd until these morons can use it against the conservatives. Maher only remains barely relevant due to his outrageous ignorance.” Do you think Maher’s statement was disgusting and disrespectful to victims of the hurricane? Watch below:
