Mattis and Tillerson Just Stood Side By Side and Got China To Do the IMPOSSIBLE to North Korea

Secretary of Defense James Mattis and Secretary of State Rex Tillerson had a rare joint meeting with Chinese officials on Wednesday, making progress on issues affecting the region, particularly North Korean belligerence.

Both secretaries unilaterally condemned North Korean aggression and were positive about China’s contributions and willingness to work on the North Korean issue.

Mattis said: “China continues to work on these issues.”

Tillerson, next to Mattis, followed up with: “They have a diplomatic responsibility to assert much greater economic and diplomatic pressure on the regime if they want to prevent further escalation in the region.

The two men say they had made great strides with China’s cooperation on North Korean sanctions. Tillerson told reporters:

“We reaffirmed our commitment to implement in full all relevant U.N. Security Council resolutions. For example, we both agree that our companies should not do business with any U.N.-designated North Korean entities.”

The summit also covered issues in the South China Sea and China’s contributions to defeating ISIS and helping Iraq achieve more stability and economic growth.

Mattis summed up the meeting with these words of unity and understanding between the the US and China in the future:

“This has been a unique opportunity for our nations to engage in philosophical level discussions about how we discuss these issues and discuss the way ahead. While competition between our nations is bound to occur, conflict is not inevitable.

Here’s the entire press conference- see it for yourself!

I am so proud to have these two strong and accomplished leaders negotiating for President Trump on behalf of my country, and for the good of world peace- Share this 10,000 times to show everyone what an awesome job Secretaries Tillerson and Mattis are doing!
