Bernie Sanders Claims Dems Won’t Be Held Responsible for Obamacare Failure, Immediately Gets Schooled
While most Democrats are busy fighting Republican attempts to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) is taking a different approach.
While admitting that the ACA could stand to be improved upon — he prefers a single-payer option — Sanders asserted that Democrats wouldn’t be to blame for its failures.
Sorry Mr. President, but if you think the Democrats will be held responsible for the failure of the ACA, you’ve got another guess coming. pic.twitter.com/8I7HztdOSH

Sanders, speaking to CNN’s Anderson Cooper, went on to say that Donald Trump and the Republicans in Congress would ultimately be held accountable for the ACA’s failure.
But not everyone saw things that way:
.@SenSanders There’s simple proof that the American people hold democrats solely responsible for #Obamacare. It’s called a trump presidency

Democrats wrote it in the dead of night-gave no one time to read it, passed it without a single R vote, but aren’t responsible?

Lol, so a law passed by a Democrat POTUS with 100% Democrat support and ZERO GOP votes, isn’t the Democrats responsibility. Got it.

Bernie Sanders if you don’t think we the American people will hold democrats responsible for ACA failure, you’ve got another thing coming.

LOL huh?! I’m pretty sure it was only Democrats who voted for the ACA, Senator.

And one Twitter user noticed what Sanders had actually admitted:
Did you just admit that the ACA failed? pic.twitter.com/ot8u6T6KSd
