Congresswoman Susan Brooks (R-Ind) then sent out the following heartbreaking image on Twitter and thanked the officer for his service and prayers for his recovery.
My sincere gratitude to IMPD Officer Robert Turner, who was injured after being involved in a crash on his motorcycle during today’s motorcade in Indy. His training for such a dangerous job in a motorcade saved his life. Sending prayers for a quick recovery
