After POTUS Kills It In Poland, Big Trump-Critic Shocks Liberals with Bold Statement

Trump’s speech yesterday in Poland was an absolute home run.

Every rational person, which excludes liberals, was blown away by the stark contrast he displayed from Barack Obama.

It reminded a lot of people about another Republican who made the transition from Hollywood to Washington.

Ronald Reagan.

That’s exactly what Col. Ralph Peters was thinking.  Important to note that Ralph Peters really doesn’t like Trump.

From BizPac Review:

“Today’s speech was not only reassuring, [but] that Warsaw speech was to me the most timely and most effective speech given by an American president on European soil since Ronald Reagan said ‘Mr. Gorbachev tear down this wall.’”

Peters added that the speechwriter’s understanding of the issues and European history was apparent.

“It called out Russia” he said, but without naming Putin, and “many references … to Russian aggression and Russian historical atrocities” that Trump’s Polish audience understood although the average American may not have.

Peters wasn’t alone.

Newt Gingrich said the same thing.

From Breitbart:

Thursday on Fox News Channel’s “Hannity,” former House Speaker Newt Gingrich boasted about how good President Donald Trump’s speech he gave earlier in the day in Warsaw, Poland the United States’ current role in the world from a historical perspective.

Gingrich told fill-in Laura Ingraham the speech was much like the one former President Ronald Reagan gave in 1982 to British parliament and laid out the “struggle” the West is facing with Islamic terrorism and “bureaucratic secularists.”

Charles Krauthammer agreed as well.

Pretty safe to say that Trump nailed it.
